Kate Gosselin rang in the new year by ditching her trademark spiked bob for $7,000 worth of 
long blond extensions.
Good thing those locks were comped, since the reality star reportedly detests the new ‘do.
“She hates it!” a source told Usmagazine.com. “She thinks her hair looks over-processed and damaged. She’s afraid people will think she’s one of Tiger Woods’ bimbos!”
Even the reality TV star’s kids are said to hate “Clean Slate Kate’s” new look.
Her twin daughters, Cara and Mady, 9, allegedly shrieked “Eww!” when they saw their made-over mom.
“They started laughing,” snitched the source. “Kate ended up in her room crying.”
This flies in the face of what celeb stylist Ted Gibson says the now-single mother of “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ said after spending 20 hours in his styling chair last week.
“She was blown away, she had no idea what the length of hair and changing the color and bangs would do for her!” he told RadarOnline.com.
